MODERN GOTHIC II
Typeface Design / 2001–2002 / thanks to Matthew Carter, Tobias Frere-Jones / Yale University
In my typeface project, I found Gothic blackletter with roman. The resulting type, Modern Gothic, makes blackletter more legible. The type’s hybrid nature recalls the past and, at the same time, points to something futuristic.
